Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Madrid, Spain
Day 2: Granada
Bienvenidos a España! Travel to Granada and explore the capital of the last standing Moorish kingdom in Spain. Finish the night with a Welcome Dinner tapa hop.
Day 3: Granada
Tour the impressive Alhambra Palace built by a Moorish king in the 13th century and shop at the quaint traditional markets. In the evening, enjoy a unique Flamenco performance in a cave.
Day 4: Nerja
Visit the majestic underground caves and beautiful beaches of Nerja, a coastal village located on the Mediterranean Sea at the foothills of the mountains. Wiggle your toes in the sand while enjoying an authentic paella cooked right on the beach.
Day 5: Caminito Del Rey / Córdoba
Head for a day of adventure as you scale along a breathtaking beautiful trail that lines a steep gorge, namesake for King Alfonso XII who walked along the very same pathway. Later, travel to Córdoba, where you relive the history and culture of Spain’s fascinating past at every turn.
Day 6: Córdoba
Visit the Mezquita Catedral (ancient mosque turned cathedral) and stroll through the courtyards of the city. Enjoy a fun, interactive lunch at Mercado Victoria.
Day 7: Toledo / Begin Homestay in Madrid
Wander through the quaint streets of Toledo, known as the city of three cultures for its influence from Jewish, Muslim and Christian inhabitants for centuries. Learn how to make marzipan, a delicious almond treat, in a hands on class. Continue on to Madrid where you will meet your familia española.
Day 8-10: Homestay in Madrid
Enjoy the authentic experience of living like a Spanish teenager as your family welcomes you into their home and shows you Madrid and the Spanish way of life.
Day 11: ¡Adios España! Fly back home
