Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Spain

Fly from the U.S. to Bilbao, Spain.

Day 2: Bilbao

Arrive in Bilbao, a foodie haven in the heart of Spain’s beautiful Basque Country region. Get lost in the historic old town and marvel at contemporary art at the Guggenheim, one of the most innovative art museums in the world.

Day 3: San Sebastián / Bilbao

Visit San Sebastián, a posh seaside resort city and recent European Capital of Culture. Meander through the narrow, winding streets and discover some of Spain’s most gourmet tapas.

Day 4: Pueblos Tour

Drive through Cantabria and Asturias, a region commonly known as “Green Spain,” and make several stops in quaint villages off the beaten path. The perfect combination of nature, culture and gastronomy.

Day 5: Oviedo

Explore Oviedo, Asturias’ capital city full of character and history, home to some of the oldest churches in the world. Cook a traditional Spanish meal in an authentic, hands-on cooking class.

Day 6: Madrid

Travel to Madrid to experience the hustle and bustle of Spain’s largest city and capital. Explore the city while gliding on a Segway and finish off the day at a traditional flamenco show.

Day 7: Toledo / Begin Homestay

Discover Toledo, a fascinating city full of culture and the former capital of the Spanish empire. Return to Madrid and begin your homestay with a familia española.

Days 8-10: Homestay in Madrid

Enjoy the authentic experience of living like a Spanish teenager as your family welcomes you into their home while showing you Madrid and the Spanish way of life.

Day 11: ¡Adios España!

Fly from Madrid back to the U.S.
