Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Spain

Fly from the U.S. to Madrid, Spain!

Day 2: Granada

¡Bienvenidos a España! Travel to Granada and explore the capital of the last standing Moorish kingdom in Spain and finish the night with a Welcome Dinner.

Day 3: Granada

Tour the impressive Alhambra Palace built by a Moorish king in the 13th century and shop at the quaint traditional markets. In the evening, learn how to dance Flamenco like an authentic “bailaora” and enjoy a unique performance in a cave.

Day 4: Nerja

Visit the majestic underground caves and beautiful beaches of Nerja, a coastal village located on the Mediterranean Sea at the foothills of the mountains.

Day 5: Tangier or Gibraltar

Travel to another country!

Option 1: Students will visit Gibraltar, a territory of the UK, playing with the famous monkeys who call the Rock of Gibraltar home.

Option 2: Take a short ferry ride to Morocco and immerse themselves into the winding, colorful streets of Tangier.

Day 6: Sevilla

Relive the history and culture of Spain’s fascinating past while cruising around on a Segway in Sevilla. Explore the immense gothic cathedral and the royal Alcázar palace.

Day 7: Sevilla / Begin Homestay

Visit the local market to buy ingredients to cook a traditional Spanish meal in a hands-on cooking class. Begin your homestay with your familia española!

Days 8 – 13: Homestay in Sevilla

Enjoy the authentic experience of living like a Spanish teenager as your family welcomes you into their home and shows you Sevilla and the Spanish way of life.

Day 14: Madrid

Take the high speed train to Madrid and dive into the hustle and bustle of Spain’s capital city and all it has to offer.

Day 15: ¡Adios España!

Fly back to the U.S.
