Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Madrid!

Day 2: Toledo

¡Bienvenidos a España! Meet your Live N Learn Tour Director and travel to nearby Toledo, a fascinating city full of culture and the former capital of the Spanish empire.

Day 3: Jaén

Head to Jaén, the land of olive groves that makes Spain the biggest producer of olive oil in the world. Visit the local market to buy ingredients and cook a traditional Spanish meal in a hands-on cooking class.

Day 4: Jaén

Visit the Parque Natural de las Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, a natural park which is the second largest protected area in Europe. Take a solar- powered boat ride around the vast and beautiful reservoir.

Day 5: Frailes/Granada

Travel to Granada, the capital of the last standing Moorish kingdom in Spain. On the way, stop in a small town of Jaén to zip-line amongst the olive groves. Finish the evening at a unique and authentic Flamenco performance in a cave.

Day 6: Granada

Tour the impressive Alhambra Palace built by a Moorish king in the 13th century. Eat dinner like a Spaniard by doing a “tapa hop” around the city.

Day 7: Granada & Madrid

Visit the tombs of the Catholic kings and enjoy some time to shop at the quaint traditional markets of the city before heading to Madrid to meet your familia española.

Day 8-10: Madrid

Enjoy the authentic experience of living like a Spanish teenager as your family welcomes you into their home while showing you Madrid and the Spanish way of life.
